Supportive and Cooperative
- The Nominee is a caring, supportive and dedicated employee
- A outstanding administrative assistant
- One of the many duties include assisting with answering questions and meeting multiple customer needs request via telephone calls (10 - 15) calls per day)
- Always courteous and helpful
- When the opportunity arises throughout the year for staff to deliver prevention and promotion services in the community, the Nominee is very involved and an active participant
- The Nominee participated in four (4) community fairs and events this past year
- Is the School Health program's newly designated P-Card reconciler, a very delicate and diligent activity that must be performed with accuracy and accountability
- Due to the Nominee's keen eye and skillful way of completing this task, this past month she was able to save the School Health Program $4,000 by catching a double-charge that was resubmitted by a vendor
- The Nominee's work attitude is one of admiration
- A team player
- Creative, focus and a good listener
- Has assisted all program supervisors with whatever is needed to run their initiatives this past six months
- Note: this work six months ago was being conducted by three (3) additional full time employees no longer in the program
- The Nominee is active and participates in department-wide committees and groups
- Serves on the MDCHD's Employee Recognition and Image Committees
- The roles are secretary and activity contact person for the department at 8175 and 8323 building sites
- The "My Florida Market Place (MFMP) Liaison for the School Health Program
- Dedicated and enthusiastic about maintaining employee unity and high morale
- A living example of how one can talk and walk the values, integrity and professionalism that an employee should have in a Sterling Organization such as the MDCHD
- Integrity - honest, believes in working together in unity, firm in adhering to policies and procedures
- Accountability - always completes projects and/or tasks even when others drop the ball
- Respect for people - Always courteous, polite, and professional
