  • The Nominee contributes to the health of the community in numerous ways
  • First, the significant increase of the number of WIC participants in the unit he/she supervises
  • When starting as a supervisor, Families R US had a caseload of approximately 2,200 clients and now 4,500
  • That an increase of % over the past
  • The increase is in part due to the excellent customer service provided to clients
  • The clients are treated in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
  • This is a great example of customer satisfaction and the number of clients returning to the clinic
  • Always makes an effort to shorten the waiting period from the time client (s) make an appointment to the moment client (s) receive WIC services
  • Takes at every opportunity walk-ins to serve those clients in need
  • Ongoing services to clients are achieved under challenging physical conditions of the unit, where space is very limited
  • Note, during Hurricane Wilma the clinic suffered damage and the Nominee along with staff continued to work under adverse conditions to serve each and every client
  • The Nominee contributes to the morale and well being of employees
  • As a result, staff provides better service to clients
  • The NomineeÕs vast knowledge of nutrition and the WIC program policies and procedures allow staff to be able to ask questions, obtain results in better customer service and satisfaction, employee morale and self-confidence
  • Always link efforts and hard work to service excellence
  • The Nominee always serve in the best interest of clients, the Mission, Vision and Values of the MDCHD
