Drinking Water Systems
Our technicians check public and private waters for quality every day. They collect samples from areas throughout Miami-Dade County and bring them to our laboratory at the Civic Center. They also make sure that new water mains are free from bacteria and dangerous organisms. During a disaster, such as a hurricane, our team issues radio and television warnings and give special safety instructions when water may be contaminated.
