Community Relations

Community Relations Specialists serve as liaisons to public and private providers, and community-based organizations in Miami-Dade County. They encourage providers to focus on STD surveillance, reporting and training and education. Emphasis is placed on promoting advocacy for the STD Prevention and Control Program at the community level, and improving relationships with the community at large.
